Ingredients (Quantities)
For the Dough:
3 cups all-purpose flour
2¼ teaspoons instant yeast
¼ cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup warm milk
¼ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
1 egg
For the Filling:
½ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
¼ cup softened butter
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tablespoons milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Prepare the Dough:
In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Add oil (or butter), egg, and salt.
Gradually add flour and mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead lightly for about 5–7 minutes until smooth.
Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Prepare the Filling:
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
Spread softened butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar evenly.
Shape & Bake:
Roll the dough tightly into a log.
Cut into even slices and place in a greased baking dish.
Let rise again for 20–30 minutes.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
Glaze:
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
