Apple Pie Moonshine Gummies

 

Ingredients:

– 1 cup apple juice

– 1 cup apple cider

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1 packet (3 oz) flavored gelatin (apple or green apple)

– 1 packet (1 oz) unflavored gelatin

– 1 cup apple pie moonshine

– 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

– Cooking spray (for greasing the molds)

 

Directions:

1. Begin by preparing your gummy molds. Spray them lightly with cooking spray to ensure easy removal once the gummies are set.

2. In a medium saucepan, combine the apple juice, apple cider, and granulated sugar. Place the saucepan over medium heat.

3. Stir the mixture continuously until the sugar has completely dissolved. This should take about 3-5 minutes.

4. Once the sugar is dissolved, reduce the heat to low. Gradually whisk in the flavored gelatin and unflavored gelatin, stirring vigorously until everything is fully dissolved and there are no lumps remaining.

5. Add the apple pie moonshine, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg to the mixture. Stir well to combine all the ingredients evenly.

6. Continue to heat the mixture on low for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Do not let it come to a boil.

7. Once the mixture is well combined and heated through, carefully remove the saucepan from the heat.

8. Using a pourable measuring cup or a ladle, pour the mixture into the prepared gummy molds. Fill each mold to the top without overflowing.

9. Allow the molds to cool at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes. Then, transfer them to the refrigerator and let them set for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

10. After the gummies have set, carefully remove them from the molds. If necessary, lightly run a knife around the edges to help loosen them.

11. Store the gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Enjoy your homemade apple pie moonshine gummies responsibly.
