Butter Swim Biscuits

Butter Swim Biscuits

Ingredients:

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

2 cups buttermilk

1 stick of butter

4 tsp baking powder

4 tsp sugar

2 tsp salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

2. In a medium bowl, combine all the dry ingredients — flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

3. Pour in the buttermilk and stir until a soft, moist dough forms.

4. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl, then pour it into an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking dish. (Make sure your pan isn’t too small or shallow to prevent the butter from spilling over while baking.)

5. Place the dough directly onto the melted butter. Use a spatula to spread it evenly so it reaches the edges of the pan.

6. Cut the unbaked dough — now “swimming” in butter — into 9 squares.7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top turns a beautiful golden brown.8. Serve warm and enjoy! These rich, buttery biscuits are perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I love them with raspberry jam, but they pair well with almost anything!
