Cabbage and Ground Beef
Ingredients:
1 small cabbage, chopped
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 cup chopped onions
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon bouillon powder
½ teaspoon ground cumin
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt, to taste
Instructions:
1. In a large pan or cast-iron skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef.
2. Break it apart using a wooden spoon and cook until fully browned.
3. Push the beef to one side of the pan and add the chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté until softened.
4. Add the diced tomatoes along with the bouillon powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and salt.
5. Stir everything together, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
7. Add the chopped cabbage, stir well, cover the pan, and cook until the cabbage is tender.
