My kids are convinced these are candy — and I’m not correcting them!
They happily munch on these sweet little bites after school, not realizing they’re actually eating fruit.
Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips
Ingredients:
2 ripe (but firm) bananas
1 tablespoon coconut oil or melted butter
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
2. Peel the bananas and slice them into thin ⅛-inch rounds.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
4. Lightly coat the banana slices with coconut oil, then sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, tossing to make sure each piece is evenly covered.
5. Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.
6. Transfer the chips to a wire rack to cool and crisp up.
Enjoy right away or store them in an airtight container for up to 2 days — if they last that long!
