Slow Cooker Smothered Chicken Legs
These slow-cooked smothered chicken legs are tender, flavorful, and cooked in a rich gravy — perfect for serving over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles.

Ingredients:
8 chicken drumsticks
1 packet brown gravy mix
10 oz can of cream of chicken soup
1 cup water
1 tablespoon seasoned salt
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Black pepper, to taste
1 yellow onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced

Instructions:
1. In your crockpot, combine the water, brown gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, sliced bell pepper, and onion. Stir well to mix.
2. Place the chicken drumsticks on top of the mixture.
3. Season the chicken with seasoned salt, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
4. Cover the crockpot and cook:
On high for 4 hours, or
On low for 6 hours.
5. Once done, serve hot over your choice of rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles. Enjoy!

Tip:
If the gravy turns out too thin after cooking, mix 1 tablespoon of cold water with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and whisk it into the sauce to thicken.
